Hello.

I work at Klei Entertainment as a resident composer and member of their creative development team, working on such games as Don’t Starve & Don’t Starve Together, Hot Lava, and Griftlands.

I spent a dozen years in the animation industry as a storyboard artist and animator. From there I took a turn into writing for video games and voice-over acting. During that time my musical practice was ever gestating. And now my job is to make music for said video games, their promotional shorts and trailers .

Growing up in a theatrical family performance in all forms has always been present in my life. Studying jazz piano and improvisational theory in my youth lead me to moonlight from my career drawing cartoons to spend over a decade as the musical director to Vancouver’s award winning improv comedy darlings, The Sunday Service. It was there that I developed a wide musical vocabulary and an intuition for narrative.

It’s paid off. People pay me to do it now.
